Shire Trees and Hedges was founded in 2009 by our Senior Tree Surgeon, Omar - a qualified arborist with over 20 years experience in the industry . His friendly demeanour, knowledge and love for trees mean clients can expect peace of mind and dependable work for their gardens. Omar and the team work on a variety of jobs - No job is considered too large or too small.

Over the years, Shire Trees has become a well reputed company, now established as one of Colchester's go-to professional tree surgeons.
Shire Trees and Hedges work with commercial and council premises through to residential properties where we provide a thorough and attentive service.
“Shire Trees & Hedges came to pollard my Lime trees this winter, all 16 of them, and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and efficiency from start to finish. I was very pleased with how well the team tidied up and left no trace of such a large operation, and all at a very reasonable price. I shall be sure to call them back in the summer to prune my Walnut tree.”
