Sectional Dismantling

Sectional Dismantling

When it is necessary for a tree to be completely removed and there is not enough space to fell it in one then specialist rigging equipment must be employed to lower the limbs of the tree safely to the ground.

Tree Felling

Tree Felling

When a tree needs to come down completely and there is plenty of space around it then precise cutting at ground level can be used to accurately down a tree in the desired direction.

Crown-Reductions

Crown Reductions

When a tree becomes too large for its environment it may then be advisable to perform an overall reduction in order to create a smaller and safer structure whilst maintaining the natural shape of the tree.

Crown-Raising

This is when the lower branches are selectively removed in order to raise the crown, whilst maintaining the balance of the tree, allowing more light penetration and head-room. A good option where paths and drive-ways are concerned.

Crown-Thinning

Crown Thinning

When the inner branches of the tree become very dense or ‘busy’ then selective pruning can be utilised in order to let light and air penetrate through the canopy, potentially increasing the tree’s health and appearance.

Dead-Wooding

Dead Wooding

This is the removal of dead or damaged branches that have occurred over time or from storm-damage. This is an essential part of tree management where the safety of people and property are concerned.

Woodland Coppicing

Woodland Coppicing

This is where an area of trees are cut close to the ground to create ‘stools’ with the intention of re-growth over future years. Typically, this is done on a 7-10 year rotation, dependant on species. A coppiced tree can live many times longer than if the tree had not been cut at all.

Planting

Planting

Trees are a complete eco-system, that is why we endeavour to plant as many trees as possible and will always plant trees free of charge for any customer that requires a tree to be removed.

Hedge Trimming

Hedge Trimming

Established hedges require trimming to keep them dense and compact. Formal hedges require more frequent trimming than informal hedges.
